Privacy Notice

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Özel Beykoz Çengelci Montessori Anaokulu (Çubuklu, Çaltepe Sk No:14, 34829 Beykoz/İstanbul), as data controller, as described below. The Turkish version of this notice is the binding text.

Visit / first meeting form: parent's full name, phone number, email address, the child's date of birth and, optionally, your message.

Teacher application form: first name, last name, email address, experience, your motivation letter, your CV and the information in any documents you attach.

When a form is submitted, your IP address is briefly kept on the server to prevent abuse.

To respond to your visit request, contact you and give you information about our school and the class suitable for your child's age.

To assess your job application and contact you about the application process.

To prevent automated and malicious use of the forms and keep our systems secure.

Your data is collected electronically through the forms on our website and processed on the legal bases in Article 5/2-c (directly related to establishing a contract), Article 5/2-f (our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms) and Article 5/2-ç (fulfilling our legal obligations) of the KVKK.

Form submissions are sent to our school's email address using the infrastructure of the provider from which we receive email and hosting services. Your data is not otherwise shared with third parties, except with public authorities legally entitled to request it, within the scope of the applicable legislation.

Your data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request its correction if incomplete or inaccurate, and its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7, and that these actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to an unfavourable result arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You can send your requests by email to info@beykozcengelcianaokulu.com or in writing to our school address. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest.

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is stored only in your browser. Google Maps is not loaded unless you press the Show map button; once you do, Google's own cookie policy applies.
